Supporting survivors at She-UK
My counselling placement supported adults who had experienced abuse as children. That work helped shape the care, patience and sensitivity I bring to therapy.
Hi, I'm Teri
Warm, honest and quietly in your corner. A space where you don't have to be anyone other than yourself.
I'm a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Sheffield. I bring curiosity, compassion and a little humour to the conversations that matter most.

What matters to me
These are the things I want our work to make room for. Not perfection, or a different version of you. A kinder connection with the person who's already there.
Good therapy begins with a human connection. The path that brought me here
My approach has grown through 25 years in wellbeing and through listening to people at some of the hardest moments in their lives.
My counselling placement supported adults who had experienced abuse as children. That work helped shape the care, patience and sensitivity I bring to therapy.
Working with St Luke's bereavement team deepened my understanding of loss, and of how important it is to give each person's grief its own time and space.
Today, I bring together person-centred therapy, CBT, somatic approaches, EFT and mindfulness. Our starting point is always your experience and what matters to you.
In my own words
What brought me to counselling, why this work matters to me, and what I hope you'll feel when we work together.
Real words.
A real person.
A place to begin.
Care, grounded in learning
Training supports the work. Continuing to learn keeps it thoughtful, responsive and centred on the people I see.
